York Doctoral Symposium

The largest conference of its kind! York Doctoral Symposium 2015 aims to bring together research students from the UK and Europe to share and exchange research ideas and promote interdisciplinary research.

There will be three keynote talks from distinguished speakers: Gordon Hollingworth (Raspberry Pi's Director of Engineering), Kevin Warwick (Professor of Cybernetics at the University of Reading) and James Ravenscroft (IBM Solutions Architect for Watson in Europe).

Plus there will be ample opportunity to engage with our industrial partners: IBM, Sim Omics, Rapita Systems, ETAS and Thales.

Conference registration is at 8:30am, followed by presentations from 9:00am and a poster session at 5.15pm.

The York Doctoral Symposium will conclude with a drinks reception, prize giving and a semi-formal Banquet Meal at the Hilton Hotel (1 Tower Street York YO1 9WD) from 7.30-10.30pm
